Percentile required to get admission into the IIM’s :

IIM’s as we all know is not merely a cakewalk. In the year 2016, students with close to a 99%ile and also the ones with a 99%ile could not make it through. This is because of the tough competition on account of an increase in the number of candidates and the low intake capacity. Hence you must be above 99%ile in order to get admission into the IIM’s. However, the cut off percentile of the IIM’s sometimes goes down on account of less competition or other such reasons.

Though there is no such minimum score required for a Business School as it completely depends on the number of seats and test-takers, however, getting a low percentile will not fetch you any seat hence it is very important to get at the least of a 90%ile for a seat at the top business schools and 80%ile and above for two-tier business school in India.
