Introduction to MHCET Law in Kandivali
MH CET Law or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law is a national level exam conducted by Directorate of Higher Education in Maharashtra for admissions into law courses offered by the law colleges of the state. Through the entrance exam, law aspirants are shortlisted for admissions to more than 10,000 seats of Five-year LLB courses offered at 120 law colleges and, around 15000 seats for three-year LLB courses offered at 135 law colleges.
For a 5 year LLB, MHCET Law is conducted in the month of April while for a 3 year LLB, MHCET Law is conducted in June. The MHCET Law is an online computer based exam. It has objective type questions.

English which consists of 30 questions of 1 mark each.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs which consists of 30 questions of 1 mark each.
Legal Aptitude which consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each.
Logical and Analytical Reasoning which consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each.
Mathematical Aptitude which consists of 10 questions of 1 mark each.
Hence, MH CET LAW paper consists of a total of 150 marks.
What is Syllabus to follow for MHCET Law?
English - Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies etc) , Proficiency (Idioms and phrases, one-word substitutions, sentence improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc) , English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usages of words, spelling mistakes etc.) , English comprehension with a minimum of two passages followed by 5-10 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.
Legal Aptitude - The study of law, research aptitude and problem-solving ability , Legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said propositions have to be applied.
Logical Reasoning - Patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments , Variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies etc.
