    MH CET Law or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law is a national level exam conducted by Directorate of Higher Education in Maharashtra for admissions into law courses offered by the law colleges of the state.     What is the paper format of MHCET LAW?

    MH CET LAW consists of 150 MCQs of 1 mark each. It consists of the following parts -  English which consists of 30 questions of 1 mark each. General Knowledge and Current Affairs which consists of 30 questions of 1 mark each. Legal Aptitude which consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each. Logical and Analytical Reasoning which consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each. Mathematical Aptitude which consists of 10 questions of 1 mark each. Hence, MH CET LAW paper consists of a total of 150 marks.

    What is Syllabus to follow for MHCET Law?

    English - Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies etc) , Proficiency (Idioms and phrases, one-word substitutions, sentence improvement  and rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc) , English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usages of words, spelling mistakes etc.) , English comprehension with a minimum of two passages followed by 5-10 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities. Legal Aptitude - The study of law, research aptitude and problem-solving ability , Legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said propositions have to be applied.  Logical Reasoning - Patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments , Variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies etc. G.K. and Current Affairs - General awareness of History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, Social Science, and Environment, Current Affairs of the past year and Recent events and awareness around the world.  Mathematics -

    MHCET Law Eligibility Criteria for 5 year LLB and 3 year LLB programme?

    For a 5 year LLB programme in MHCET the candidate must have completed at least 10th and 12th standard with minimum 45% aggregate in both. To be eligible for 3 year programme through MHCET Law the candidate must have completed 10+2+3 with minimum 45% aggregate in each. In MHCET Law eligibility for general candidates is 45%, for SC/ST from Maharashtra it is 40%, for OBC,SBC,NT(A)/DT/VJ from Maharashtra is 42% and for other states students eligibility for MHCET Law is 45%.
