A. The full form of GMAT is ‘The Graduate Management Admission Test’. GMAT is a standardised test used for admission into business school and other specialised master's programs. GMAT is a valuable part of the students application into MBA Programs and Business Schools as it serves as a common co-efficient to compare applicants to each other. The GMAT is taken on a computer and is conducted by the GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). The GMAT is a type of Computer Adaptive Test (CAT). GMAT Format and Sections The GMAT Test contains 4 sections: Analytical Writing Assessment - This section of the GMAT measures critical thinking and communication of ideas. Integrated Reasoning - This section of the GMAT measures your ability to analyse data and evaluate information presented in multiple formats. Q. When does the GMAT exam happen?
A. You can give the GMAT exam anytime in the year. You must register and book your GMAT exam date online, as per availability. You can take the GMAT exam every 16 days, and for a maximum of 5 times a year. Your GMAT prep should be completed one year before your MBA Program begins.
Q. What are the requirements to be eligible to give the GMAT exam?
A. GMAT Age Requirement - To be eligible to appear for the GMAT exam, you must be at least 18 years old. If you want to give the GMAT exam between the age of 13 to 17, you must have a written letter of consent from your legal guardian. Academic Qualification - Even though you can give you GMAT exam earlier, your GMAT score can only be used to apply to Post Graduate Schools, hence you must have a Bachelors Degree to use your GMAT score in any applications.
