I can't thank GP Sir enough for mentoring me and helping me in understanding the fine basics of acing IIM interviews. The main weapon needed to crack the tough shell of CAT is self-confidence, and Career Launcher has done a brilliant job in boosting my confidence by conducting relevant mock tests and mock interviews at the right time. I want to thank Gautam Puri Sir for everything that I have achieved, I had thought about joining other institutes for my preparation. But they were catering to the masses by only covering the basic things. Fortunately, I came to know about Gautam Puri and the PDP program which were a real value addition and confidence booster. CL provided me with a great study environment and dedicated coaching, which helped me crack CAT with flying colours.
Joining Career Launcher for CAT coaching turned out be an excellent decision for me. I joined the weekend batch in June last year and upgraded to MBA Personalised in October. The best thing about CL is that everybody is very invested in your success, they WANT you to win. The teachers, mentors, admin, online portal, study material, workshops, mocks, percentile predictors (which are very accurate) - everyone and everything just come together to make for a perfect support system. I am glad that I could share my journey with the people here. This place has given me mentors and friends for life.
An important question as students usually join coaching when they are in school/college and often timings of the coaching centre and other private tuition timings clash or due to various personal reasons students may miss classes. Usually a good coaching institute will reschedule a class, but do ask whether the class will be arranged on a day decided by them or as per your convenience. A rigid attendance often doesn’t allow those rare mischievous students to bunk classes and institutes should provide attendance details to parents, if needed.
To get an idea about the dedicated teachers for a particular subject, educational qualification of the faculty and also the teacher-student ratio will help in obtaining more personal guidance. Some coaching institutes have tie-ups with schools and colleges and conduct classes at their facility after the school/ college hours. If your school/ college has a tie-up with any such institute, you can consider it as it will save traveling time. You will have the advantage of sitting with known faces and don’t have to worry about any time clash.
