Introduction to CET in Kharghar
MH-CET or MAH-MBA/MMS-CET is the State Level entrance test for admission to MBA/MMS programs affiliated to Maharashtra State Universities. The test is conducted by Directorate for Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
CET is the conducted in the month February or March across various centres in multiple cities of Maharashtra. CET is an online test which is conducted on secure computers of all the assigned centres and is only conducted once in a year.
Eligibility Criteria for CET
For an CET MBA you need a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. For being able to give the CET you need to have passed your graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Incase you are from reserved category, you need to have cleared your graduation with at least 45% to be eligible for the CET. The students who are in the final year of graduation and want give the test are also eligible to appear for the CET.

What is paper pattern for CET ?
In total CET consists of 200 questions. The 200 questions in CET are divided into four sections, namely Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. Each section has a particular distribution of questions i.e. Logical Reasoning has 75 questions, Abstract Reasoning has 25 questions and Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability comprise of 50 questions each. In CET each correct answer is of one mark. There is no negative marking in CET, making it a total of 200 marks.
What is the application fee for giving a CET exam?
Open category candidates need to pay Rs. 1000 as the exam fee for CET. Candidates from reserved categories will have to pay Rs. 800 as the fee for CET.
What should one refer to when preparing for CET ?
A student can prepare for the CET by studying for the topics covered in all the sections of test. Logical and Abstract Reasoning consists of pie charts, tables, reasoning questions(visual and logic). The Quantitative Aptitude section of CET consists of questions from topics like percentage, ratio and proportion, geometry, algebra, trigonometry. While the Verbal section comprises of grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, sentence completions, antonyms and passages in CET.
In how many slots is the CET conducted?
CET is conducted in two slots, one slot is in the morning and the second slot is in the afternoon over a period of two days.

MBA CET 2020 registration and application will open in the second week of January 2020.
How many times can you appear for CET?
You can give CET 3 times in total.
