What is GRE?\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

You might have heard so many people giving GRE but know nothing about it. GRE stands for<\/span> Graduate Record Examinations. The name itself explains everything. It is the examination for graduate programs in various fields. It is basically to get admission in the US,\u00a0UK, Canada and other universities. GRE<\/a> is conducted by Educational Testing Service known\u00a0<\/span>as ETS.\u00a0<\/span>GRE is available in two formats: Computer-based and paper-based.\u00a0<\/span>GRE test is of two types: GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test<\/a>. General Test consist of quant<\/span>, verbal and analytic section and the Subject test is for judging expertise in specific fields.\u00a0Test taker can retake GRE five times every 21 days in continuous rolling of 12 months.\u00a0<\/span>ETS has provided the feature called Score Select in which applicants can choose which\u00a0<\/span>score from multiple attempts can be sent to specific grad school within six weeks after your\u00a0<\/span>test.\u00a0<\/span>GRE score is valid for five years starting from 1 July. The total duration of test is 3 hours and\u00a0<\/span>40 minutes. The GRE score is divided into three sections in which test taker has to secure\u00a0<\/span>130-170 in verbal and quant and 0-6 in analytics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
