We often tend to confuse two similar sounding examinations as one! When we consider two examinations such as MH-CET MBA v\/s the MH-CET LAW, the MH-CET MBA is inclined towards further studies in the field of MBA which stands for Masters in Business Administration, v\/s MH-CET LAW is more of inclined towards further studies with respect to the field of 3 years and 5 years integrated programme of the course of LLB.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MH-CET MBA:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

MH CET is conducted by DTE which stands for Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra every year.\u00a0 It is an online computer based examination which has a duration of about 2.5 hours and can help you secure a seat in any of Maharashtra\u2019s 350+ MBA colleges . As a criteria for eligibility, the student must have obtained a minimum of 50% for a student belonging to the General Category and 45% for a student belonging to the reserved category.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The exam consists of 200 questions in MCQ format. The examination has no negative marking.<\/span><\/p>\n

This examination is an extremely competitive examination with more than 1 lakh students appearing for it every\u00a0 year. The number of seats is close to 34,600 and the number of test takers are more than 100k which makes it a very competitive affair.<\/span><\/p>\n

MH-CET LAW:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The MH-CET Law Examination consists of 150 objective questions. This examination lasts for 2 hours. Each question in the examination carries one mark. Before applying for the examination, you need to know the eligibility criteria which is that the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% in the undergraduate degree which usually is a 3 year programme of LLB.<\/span><\/p>\n

The syllabus for both the programmes remains the same. The syllabus usually includes Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning,\u00a0 Logical and Analytical Reasoning, GK and Current Affairs and English. Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning involves questioning the candidates problem solving ability with respect to the subject of Law. Logical aptitude and reasoning comprises of a number of arguments, drawing various conclusions to problems, and applying certain rules to problems given.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

GK and Current Affairs will deal with your basic General knowledge. And english will test your linguistic abilities in the language.<\/span><\/p>\n
