Then the MH CET is the examination you need to ace! The MH CET is a statewide examination conducted by the DTE\u00a0 (Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra) every year.\u00a0 Cracking this examination is the key to securing your admission in any of\u00a0 Maharashtra&#8217;s 350+ colleges.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Examination Profile of the MH CET<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exam has 200 questions which are in the MCQ format. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an online examination lasting for 2.5 hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exam comprises of 200 questions divided in to 3 sections.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no negative marking in the grading system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The registration fee for MH CET is Rs 800\/- for applicants from the state of Maharashtra. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For applicants who are from outside<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the state of Maharashtra, the registration fee is Rs 1000\/-.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> By acing the MH-CET, you can look to secure admission into Maharasthra&#8217;s top MBA Schools such as JBIMS, NL Dalmiya, DSIMS, PUMBA, SIMSREE, KJ Somaiya and so on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>So, what are my chances?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Around 20 to 35 % seats are alloted to All India Candidates who appear for the MH CET Examination, in addition to which <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15% seats of Maharashtra&#8217;s top MBA colleges are reserved for All India category candidates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than 1 lakh students appear for this examionation every single year, but the number of seats available are only around 34,600,this makes it an extremely competitive examination. The year on year increase in applicants only makes it more difficult! hence this is an examination demanding rigorous preparation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While applying one must be aware that only a handful of colleges accept CET as a valid admission criteria. There are only 325 MMS Colleges Accept CET as a criterion for admission to their institutions.
