It\u2019s being conducted by a computer based system in two session\u2019s i.e. morning and the afternoon session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CAT is for all those aspiring candidates who want to go for post graduation program from the world famous IIMs. It\u2019s an entrance exam to enter in to the MBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Talking about the CAT exam pattern:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mode of examination will be digital or Computer Based Test (CBT) which is to be held in two sessions i.e. morning and the afternoon session. The time of the exam will be 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. The exam consists of objective and subjective both type of questions. There will be total 100 questions and there is a negative marking scheme also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CAT exam pattern has changed over the years and now has 100 questions divided into 3 sections. The exam questions are a mix of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Non Multiple Choice Questions (Non MCQs). The candidates will have to fill the respective form and required details along with the photograph. The candidates will get the four choices regarding the cities of the exam centre.
