And so we created this post for students wanting to understand MH-CET 2019. Whether you are giving MH-CET in 2019 or planning ahead for the coming years, this post is your chance to know the details of the examination!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MH-CET<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an online examination conducted at state-level for admission into various courses in the state of Maharashtra. In 2019, it is scheduled from from May 2nd to May 13th, 2019<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-369 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/studysid.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/MHT-CET-2017-300x158.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> Prerequisites for MH-CET:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The application fee for general category is INR 800 and that for reserved category is INR 600.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">36 exam centers in Maharashtra will conduct MH-CET in 2019 (candidates can choose their preferred exam centers while registering for the exam).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> MH CET 2019 comprises 3 papers. Here, p<\/span>aper 1 is for Mathematics while papers 2 and 3 are for Physics-Chemistry and Zoology-Botany respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The questions in the exam are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The duration of each paper is 90 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> Eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before applying for the examination, candidates should make sure they meet the eligibility criteria for MH CET. The Directorate of Technical Education (Maharashtra) defines the eligibility conditions for candidates. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The basic eligibility for MH CET is that candidates should have passed class 12th from a recognized board or equivalent. The separate eligibility conditions for all the courses are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>A. <\/strong><strong>FOR ENGINEERING COURSES:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Candidates should be an Indian National.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Candidates must have passed class 12th exam or HSC examination with subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics\/ Biotechnology\/ Biology\/Technical Vocational subject.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Minimum aggregate marks needed for general candidates are 50%, 45% for reserved category candidates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Obtained qualifying marks in JEE Main Paper 1 (All India Candidature Candidates, including Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>B. FOR PHARMACY COURSES:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Candidate should be an Indian National.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Applicant must have completed class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics\/ Biology \/Biotechnology\/ Technical Vocational subject. For candidates of general category, the minimum percentage criterion is 45% and for reserved category, it is 40%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> There is no age limit applicable to this course.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2 <\/span><strong>Features of MH CET:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The exam is computer based.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The students opting engineering degree programs have to appear and clear Paper I and Paper III.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The students opting health science degree and other courses have to appear for Paper I and Paper II.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates who want to opt for an engineering course can attempt 150 questions, for health sciences, 200 questions can be attempted. Those appearing for Pharmacy courses can attempt 150 to 250 questions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Wrong answers won&#8217;t carry negative marks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> Changes introduced in 2019:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Earlier, MH CET was entirely on Class 12 syllabus of HSC Board of Maharashtra. Now the students will have to study Class 11 syllabus as well which broadens the horizon of the exam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In MH CET Syllabus will give 20% and 80% weightage to 11th and 12th standard syllabi respectively.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The level of difficulty of MH CET 2019 is raised to meet the level of JEE Main in terms of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and NEET for Biology.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The approximate number of questions based on the 11th standard will be 10 and 40 from class 12.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The paper will focus on application-based questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> Admit card details:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The admit card is usually released in the month of April. Candidates should go through all the details mentioned on the admit card and then download it. After doing so, remember:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Take out multiple copies of MH CET 2019 Admit Card for being thorough.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> MH CET 2019 Admit Card will contain the exam center and address allocated to every candidate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The admit card contains the date and time of the examination, which must be checked properly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Candidates need to check the details mentioned in the admit card and report any problems.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> MH CET Cut off:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DTE of Maharashtra releases the cut off score after every round of seat allotment after considering the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">total number of seats available<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">number of candidates<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">level of difficulty of exam. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u27a2<\/span><strong> MH CET 2019 Results:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DTE usually declares the results on their website in the first week of June. Your CET score will be valid for 1 year.
