The tendency to score as high as possible in any entrance examination purely depends on how well you prepare for the exam and how consistent and focussed you are throughout your preparation. The concepts of GMAT must be on your fingertips in order to ace the exam. A score greater than 750 is tough to achieve without sheer commitment however it is not impossible to achieve it as there have been candidates achieving a score more than 750 in GMAT.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can consider tutoring if possible but if not, there\u2019s nothing to worry about as tutoring would just help you be regular. The main task depends upon you. No matter how many ever-coaching institutes you take, if you lack the tool of self-study, you\u2019ll land up nowhere. Self-study is majorly responsible for cracking any entrance examination. Coaching only gives you an edge over the others through keeping you consistent. But if you can be regular by yourself, then coaching is nowhere required in your preparation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare a well scheduled time table and prepare the one which is possible for you to follow. Don\u2019t prepare an over-straining, hectic or a timetable which is impossible to schedule.

Start at the least 4-6 months before the date of your examination. Start as soon as possible if you are not left with that much time before the examination. Solve as many mock tests as possible. Also, make sure to time each test and review the solutions for each question. Go through previous years question papers as this will give you an idea about the type of questions which appear in the papers. This is one mistake which people underestimate and skip.

Time management plays a very important role as you only have 3.5 hours to solve all the four sections and they are very lengthy. Each section should be timed properly. Also, solve each section based on which you are comfortable with solving first.

Now, this is the part which will benefit you during the last few days of your GMAT Preparation. Prepare a book and write down all the tough questions or the ones you couldn\u2019t solve or the important questions. If you are comfortable with marking them then you could even mark all the important questions. Go through all the papers and books and then summarize it into a book so that you wouldn\u2019t have to go through all of them again and you would be saving a lot of time during the last few days of revision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
